1 .What is the "dst" ?

"Dst" is one kind of file format – the Tajima digitized file format. It is the most commonly used format, compatible with most embroidery machines. We can provide other formats as well. Conversion between many of these file formats is possible, though editing is usually best done in the digitizing software’s native format, using the software in which the file was originally digitized.

2. What artwork is common format that the embroidery company would like? And what is the common format embroidery machines use?

For embroidery sewing machines, Tajima (or "dst") is the most commonly-used format. Most brands of embroidery machines can use it: Brother, Happy, Tajima, Wilcom, for example. vector-based formats, like ".ai" ".eps" (generated by Adobe Illustrator), and ".cdr" (generated by Corel Draw) are excellent. Most embroidery firms and printing firms can use them.

3. What is the limit digitizing size for left chest and cap (hat)?

The maximum width and height for left chest is no more than 5”, and the standard size is 3.5” wide, 3” and 4” wide are in common use.

The maximum digitizing size for caps is no more than 2.5” high, 5” wide.

4. What is Digitizing?

The flat rate fees are as follows:

Designs 5,000 stitches and under, $8.00

Designs 5,001 up to 15,000 stitches, $18.00.

Designs 15,001 up to 25,000 stitches, $35.00.

Designs 25,001 up to 35,000 stitches, $50.00.

Designs 35,001 up to 45,000 stitches, $65.00.

Designs 45,001 up to 55,000 stitches, $75.00.

Designs 55,001 stitches and up a maximum charge of $85.

No, registration is free, there is no monthly or annual fee to be a member of the site.

 

7. How do I upload my artwork?         Top

The order/quote forms both have a place where you can upload your art files. Just click on the browse button and find the image from your hard drive or floppy drive. Then double click and it will attach.

8. Which type of art format is acceptable?      Top

You can send a .jpg, .bmp, .gif, .tif, .jif, .cdr, eps, ai, or .pdf files on our website.

 

9. How do I know when my design is ready?     Top

You will receive an e-mail notification on the due date to inform you that your design is available for download. You will then go to the site and log onto your account to download your stitch file.

 

10. How do I get a quote?                Top

Log in to our site with your user name and password and submit your quotes by selecting "New Quote" from the menu at left and attaching your artwork. All quotes are usually answered by an e-mail response within two hours from the time submitted.

 

11. How do I get my finished embroidery design?    Top

Log in to our site with your user name and password. Click on the corresponding order's punch files and download the stitch files from the web site.

 

12. What is a design profile and how does it work?    Top

A "Design Profile" is yours or your customer's order preferences. For example, if you need to receive your designs in a certain format, this is where you would let us know. You may have several "Design Profiles" set up in your account.

 

13. How do I know if my artwork is ok?        Top

Sometimes an "Order Alert" is created to exchange communication regarding a specific order between the customer and the company which will help in the correct interpretation of the ordered design. If you do not have any "Order Alerts", your artwork is probably ok.

 

14. How does the archiving work?          Top

We archive orders online for 6 months. This means that your order will be available for download for 6 months from the date the order was submitted.

 

15. What formats do you offer?      Top

We can output .PXF, .POF, .PSF, CND, .EXP, .DST, .XXX, .JEF, .SEW, .PES, PCS, .HUS, .CSD, .DSB, .DSZ and PCM.
 

16. How do I pay for my design?       Top

We accept all major credit cards or you can fill out a credit application online By PayPal .
